Kathrin Veith

Actress

 

Kathrin Veith studied acting at the Zurich University of the Arts (2004-2008). Since 2008, she has been a freelancer actor and voice artist in Switzerland and abroad. Veith has worked at the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, Konstanz city theatre, Zurich’s Schauspielhaus and Baden-Baden theatre. She has also brought projects for the independent arts scene to the Alte Reithalle Aarau, the Roxy Theatre in Basel and the Schlachthaus-Theater in Bern. In her career, Kathrin Veith had the opportunity to work with directors such as Mélanie Huber, Anna Papst, Enrico Beeler and Theater Marie. Recently, she took the leading role in Carmen Stadler’s film „Sekuritas“, starring as Nora Falk. In 2006 and 2007, she was awarded the Migros Culture Percentage and Friedl Wald Foundation scholarship prize (Studienpreis). In 2021, she received a workshop grant from Aargauer Kuratorium (council for the promotion of culture in the canton of Aargau) to spend time in Berlin. Kathrin Veith lives with her family in Aarau.
