Three questions for Ursina

To be or not to be! Have you ever faced this question in your life?

No, fortunately not really. At times, I had to get by on not a lot, but these times also taught me to be thrifty and not live beyond my means. Fortunately, I was never ill for an extended period of time, so this approach always worked.

Have you ever had pension role models?

My role models were my parents, even though their professional life was very different to mine. But they showed me how to manage money well, which helped me to cope with fluctuating incomes as a freelancer.

What pensions advice would you offer your younger self?

I would advise my younger self to join SONART, the largest professional association of freelance musicians in Switzerland, early on, because they run workshops on pensions, as well as all sort of other topics regarding organisation of one’s career as a musician. For members, this is even provided for free.
